Alba Deangelis (b.1988) is a photographer whose work focuses on architecture as a primary subject of her visual research. Born and raised in Apulia, Southern Italy, she moved to Milan in 2007 to study architecture, where she discovered photography while attending the Polytechnic University. Through a process of detachment and abstraction, often disregarding contextual elements, her work focuses on specific spatial details. By isolating fragments of architecture, she transforms them into autonomous images, merging space with personal experience, memory, and emotion. Self-taught, she has worked since 2017 on Italian and international projects at the intersection of architecture, art and design, developing a photographic practice that balances documentation and interpretation. Based between Milan and Apulia, available worldwide.
